Noa (Animals on Board)
Noa (Animals on Board) is easy to learn, fast to play and a great way of spending time with the whole family. It is also an excellent example of how a game can be smart, easy and fast.
Each player has their own Ark which they are trying to fill up with different animals. Noah takes everything that comes in pairs, so the players have to collect single animals, or animals in bigger herds. In the beginning of each round, a large group of animals is placed in the middle of the playing area. Before these animals can fit onto the players' Arks, they need to be divided into more suitable groups. On the players' turn they can separate animals into smaller groups, and also get a food crate for doing so. Later, they can use the food crates to bring animals aboard their own Ark. All the animals need to be fed, however, and unless the players have enough food crates they cannot take any animals aboard.
The game ends when one player has 10 or more animals on his or her Ark. After this, the players remove any animals that they have in pairs, and finally score their own Arks.
